  • Is the entire car reservation process online?
    Yes! We believe that you should not have to waste time on a counter signing documents. Here at Choco's Bronco Rental, you may reserve your car, sign, and pay all online - and most importantly, it's secure.
  • Which are the Business Hours?
    Monday – Saturday: 8:00am to 6:00pm Sunday- 9:00am to 5:00pm *Car pickups before business hours may be subject to an early pick-up fee of $25.00. *Car returns after business hours may be subject to an after-hours return fee of $25.00.

  • If I’m not aware how to make the reservation online, I can make the reservation through another communication area.
    Yes, you can contact us by the options than will be mentioned previously. All reservations can be made and complete by this communication area. Is important that, to complete the reservation, you provide the following information: Day and Time of the Pickup and Return the unit Pickup and Return location (Choco’s Main Lot or Airport Parking Lot) How many vehicles do you want rent If you want the insurance of (Collision Damage Waiver & Liability Insurance) If you want to add an additional driver If you want car seat or booster seat (Underage seat) Name Phone number and an additional phone number Email Provide your driver license
  • Do you have a Minimum Rental Period?
    The minimum period required to rent is two days. But in some months of the year, we offer rentals of only one day. The “Same Day” have a special cost for each unit. The system will not allow you to book online. But you can contact us through the different areas of communication, and we will help you to complete the reservation for a one day (Same Day).
  • Do you have a minimum age to rent?
    Yes, the minimum age to rent a car with Choco's Bronco Rental is twenty-one (21).
  • Do you make to the customer a Security Deposit Hold?
    Yes, a Security Deposit Hold of $200.00 is required to rent any unit from our Company. The $200.00 security deposit will be retained the day of the established Pick Up and qualifies to be returned in full after the Return of the car, up to (14) days. Normally is work the same day that the vehicle is returned.
  • Can I use my own car insurance for the car rental?
    The short answer is yes. Check your auto insurance policy, or contact your car insurance provider to see what type of coverage for rental cars may already be included in your personal auto insurance policy. Note: If the customer opts for not selecting our insurance: “Collision Damage Waiver and Liability Insurance” in Broncos Sport and Kia Sportage, they must send a proof of insurance to the email of that their vehicle's insurance covers a minimum of $35,000 in damages. If the customer does not deliver the evidence before his pick-up time, a charge of $15.00 per day will be made.
  • Can I make an extension for my reservation?
    Yes, the extensions to the Car Rental Period need to be requested by emailing ( at least two (2) business hours before the established return time to avoid additional fees. Any extension to the rental period will be subject to availability. If the extension is approved, you will be notified by email and/or by a phone call from administration.
  • Can I rent Car Seats/Child Boosters?
    Yes, we have the protect seats. The rental price for car seats and child boosters is $4 per day up to a maximum of $30 for the car rental period, plus sales tax.
  • Can I add an additional driver?
    The car rental includes one (1) driver. The Client may choose to add up to two (2) additional drivers for $10.00 per day each. Each driver must present a valid, non-expired driver's license.
  • Will I have a penalty if I return the vehicle later?
    Yes, the client has a 15-minute grace period after the established return time. After the grace period, is subject to charges be each hour.
  • The customer need refuel the vehicle before the return?
    Yes, the Client must refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level it was delivered by the Company at the time of Pick Up.
  • What is the Cancellation Policy?
    Cancellation Policy a. Reservations canceled five (5) business days or prior to the established car rental pick-up date qualify for a refund,minus a cancellation fee equal to $100.00 or 30% of the invoiced amount, whichever is greater, or a three (3) month rain check, subject to availability*. o The rain check can only be used one time* b. Reservations canceled between four (4) business days to the day of the established pick-up date will qualifyonly for a three (3) month rain check, subjectto availability*. o The rain check can only be used one time*. c. Reservations canceled the same day of the established pick-up date, will qualify only for a three (3) month rain check, subjectto availability*. o The rain check can only be used one time*. d. If the client no shows, will not qualify for a refund or rain check. e. After the car rental period begins, shortened trips and/or unused time do not qualify for a refund nor rain check. f. If the rental car that you reserved becomes unavailable due to an accident or mechanical failure, we will notify you and find a replacement vehicle similar in size. If a replacement vehicle is not available for you, we will notify you as soon as possible and refund your payment in full. g. If your ferry trip with destination to Culebra PR or plane flight with destination to “Aereopuerto Benjamin Rivera Noriega Culebra PR” gets canceled due to weather conditions, tropical storm, hurricane, or other atmospheric phenomenon you qualify for a full refund.   • What are the Prohibited Uses of Car?
    a. Only the person who rented the Car and provided a valid Driver's License will be authorized to drive the vehicle during the rental period. b. It is strictly forbidden to drive the Car under the influence of alcohol and/or other legal or illegal substances that may affect the renter's driving ability. c. Choco’s Bronco Rental prohibits all types of smoking in its cars, including vaping and medical cannabis. In keeping with this policy, if a car comes back to us smelling of any type of smoke, including e-cigarette vapors, we will assess a cleaning fee. d. The Car may only travel on paved roads open to trafficand accessible solid dirt roads. There are four hidden beaches, "Playa Dátiles","Playa Larga", “Playa Resaca” and “Playa Brava”. that are not allowed to be traveled to with any of our vehicles based on the difficulty of the road and the safety of the Client. e. If there is a minor, he must always travel his respective protective seat. f. Any type of animal is prohibited from getting into the Car. Only servicedogs with their proper documentation and current medical certificate will be accepted. g. The Client is responsible for all events arising from the use of the Car (any parking and traffic fines to the license plate and/or the Client's driver's license and any accident), that are not attributable to any rupture of the obligations of the lender. h. Should the Client visit a body of water, be it beach, bay, lagoon, he/she must make sure that he/she, and any occupants do not have excessive sand or are wet when getting into the vehicle to avoid any cleaning fees. i. Choco’s Bronco Rental is not responsible for any articles left inside the vehicle during nor after the rental period. j. According to municipal ordinance, children under 12 years of age cannot ride in Golf Carts. If the client has children under 12 years of age and reserve a Golf Cart, and any situation with police or accident occurs Choco’s Bronco Rental will not assume the responsibility. Also, this case will not qualify for any refund nor rain check. If the client wants another unit (Bronco Sport or Kia Sportage) to replacement the golf cart, will be subject to availability, and the customer must pay the difference in cost for rent. k. Warning: Our golf carts are faster than regular golf carts. We ask our customers to be prudent with speed, please do not exceed 25MPH while driving.
  • What is the Damage Waiver & Supplemental Liability Insurance?
    Tha Damage Waiver covers the customer for damages to the rental car that exceed $500.00 in repairs. The Supplemental Liability Insurance, it covers damages or injuries to third parties.
